Dried root may be used as a tea or tincture. Roasted root can be used in brewing wine, beer and in digestive bitter cordials and liqueurs. For herbal tea, add 2 to 5 grams (1 to 2 Teaspoons) of dried root to 1 cup of hot water and steep for 12-14 minutes. Strain the liquid before drinking.
