How long does processing orders and shipping take?
At times we may be a bit behind due to a holiday or order rush. From start to finish your order is processed, filled and shipped. For the highest quality and freshness, all of our products are filled to order, rather than pre-bagged. Most orders take up to 1-3 business days to leave our facility after being processed and packaged. Thereafter arriving to your destination within the specified USPS postal service shipping timeframe selected during checkout (pending no additional USPS delays). Also please keep in mind weekends DO NOT count as business days as we do not ship on weekends.
i.e. Regardless if 1, 2, or 3-day priority shipping is selected on an order made. 1-3 business days to process and package your order will still apply.
Package marked as delivered but I haven’t received my package?
Please wait 72 hours before contacting us regarding missing packages. Sometimes USPS will mark packages as delivered before they reach your home or shipping destination. Many times the packages show up within a few days of delivery confirmation. It's very helpful if you contact your local USPS and submit a claim in addition to contacting us.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, at this time House of Imhotep has extended our business territory internationally. However, if at any point during shipment your package is for any reason rejected at customs and returned to our facility for any unknown reason your order will be canceled and funds will be reimbursed. We also ship to APO/FPO government installations in support of our military.
Are all of your products organic?
We strive to sell organic products whenever possible. If a product is not organic, we make certain that it is cultivated without chemicals, or is wild harvested. We completely stand by our business motto "With love and your well-being in mind" not only for health purposes but also, quality! Our integrity and high quality standards ensure we only provide the very best botanical selections free from pesticides, adulterants, and contamination.
Can I return a product? What if I received the wrong item or my order was damaged?

We guarantee that if for ANY reason you wish to return an item that you have received, you may send them back postmarked within 30 days from the invoice date.
My order has not shipped yet, can I cancel it?
Because we process your order as quickly as possible, if you have a change of heart or inadvertently purchase an item, immediately send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 240-903-0130 and mention you would like your order to be canceled. Your order will be canceled and funds will be reimbursed.
Why does it take so long for an item to come back in stock?
Given that we are committed to only providing our customers nothing less than the best quality botanicals, we do our best to keep up with customer demand. Please take into consideration that our growers are regularly impacted by unpredictability of weather conditions, seasonal crop challenges, and sometimes even international conflicts may impact the availability of certain herbs we provide.
What if there's an item I'm unable to locate?
We have access to a large collection of herbs and spices. If for any reason you can't locate an item you're searching for, call or send us an email and we will find it for you.
